Dendronephthya rubeola This Red Carnation Coral is the latest addition to my tank. He curls up into a tight ball during the day and expands out at night. He enjoys baby brine shrimp. 1/29/99 Update: I have lost this coral. When I purchased it I was unaware of how difficult this coral was to keep. Carnation Corals are classified as one the the most difficult soft corals to keep. They require regular feedings of brine shrimp, very low light and low to medium water flow. Because of their poor survival rate, it is not recommended that you purchase this coral.
