Ctenochaetus hawaiiensis
The Chevron Tang is a great addition to a reef tank. They are
not overly aggressive and will coexist with most tankmates with the exception of
it's own species and close relatives. They spend the majority of the day
grazing, so vegetable matter should be introduced into the tank daily unless the
tank contains microalgae. This fish will grow to a maximum length of 11 inches,
therefore it requires a large tank. This is the juvenile coloration - an an
adult the fish will turn dark olive-brown with thin black lines. |
