Erythropodium sp. This encrusting gorgonian was purchased in February of 1999. It is absolutely beautiful as it waves in the current. The long, wavy polyps arise from a very smooth mat which will encrust rocks, glass, just about anything. This coral is hardy and easily propogated, but care must be taken with placement, as it will encrust anything in it's path!
