Red Open Brain

Trachyphyllia sp.

Since acquiring this coral, the red coloration has deepened dramatically. When it was first purchased, it was a light pink color.

Open Brain corals require medium light and low to medium water flow. They are more difficult to care for than some other brain corals. They have a heavy conical base which is typical of substrate dwellers.
